Live Your Dream: Education & Training Awards for Women

Through the Live Your Dream Awards, Soroptimist clubs invest more than $2.9 million in education grants to nearly 2,200 women every year.

These women have overcome incredible challenges including poverty, domestic and sexual violence, and addiction. They are on a path to a new life, and the Live Your Dream Awards support them in achieving their goals. 

Dream It, Be It Career Support

Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls gives girls the tools they need to achieve their education and career goals, empowering them to break cycles of poverty, violence, and abuse.

Clubs run conferences, webinars, podcasts and other events in their communities to inspire and engage girls in building their future.

Community Projects

Award-winning Soroptimist community projects run by clubs include Housing for Women By Women in Vancouver, Bea’s Closet in Coquitlam, Anney’s Closet in Victoria, The Period Promise in Alberta, and many more.

Soroptimist clubs find a problem or opportunity for positive change in their community, they form a plan, form partnerships and make it happen.

International Projects

Soroptimist members form a global network of like-minded women making change in their community. Projects bring members together from around the world and remind us of the huge inequality among women that exists globally.

Soroptimist members identify international projects by building links with clubs from around the world, sharing ideas and travelling within the Federations to see and support communities in action.
