Our dynamic club of women of diverse ages and backgrounds is active in Abbotsford and Mission. We plan events each year, including multiple fundraisers and our annual Live Your Dream Awards luncheon. Our awards luncheon is an inspiring event where we present our Live Your Dream: Education and Training Support for Women Award. Our fundraising efforts support our mission of improving the lives of women and girls.
We usually partner with organizations that support women in our communities; we are providing meals to SARA for Women - the Warm Zone, a drop-in center in Abbotsford for homeless, street engaged women and SARA for Women - Santa Rosa Place Residence, 13 self-contained units in second-stage transitional housing program for women and their children. Where women are living alcohol and drug-free. We donate our time to Glory House Recovery Home, a 14-bed second-stage transitional home for women. These women are able to stay up to 2 years as they learn to live alcohol and drug-free.
We operate SIAM's Closet a free store of new or gently used household items to support women and girls as they establish their home after recovering from violence, substance abuse or leaving the Foster Care System.
